Awkward Season 3: Premiere Date Announced, First Trailer Released
Jim Halterman at .MTV has announced the premiere date for Awkward Season 3.
With new cast members Anthony Michael Hall and Nolan Funk on board, the comedy will return on April 16 at 10 p.m. with back-to-back episodes.
Look for Season 3 to focus on Jenna wondering whether or not there's more for her outside of her relationship with Matty and all she knows at Palos Hills.
The premiere, specifically, will kick off with Jenna starting her junior year, while a network press releases teases the "death of a classmate" on tap for episode two, an event that causes "Jenna to reflect on loss, grieving, and taking responsibility for a secret she's keeping from Matty."
