Julian Sands has been cast on Dexter Season 8.

The actor (24, Smallville, Castle, Person of Interest) will come on board the Showtime smash as Miles Foster, a wealthy international businessman.

TV Guide broke the casting news, but no other details are available at this time.

The network confirmed this month that Season 8 - which premieres June 30 and will include appearances by Yvonne Strahovski, Darri Ingolfsson, Charlotte Rampling and Sean Patrick Flanery - will be the show's last.

It also revealed a clip from the Dexter season premiere.
