Kristin Chenoweth is on her way back to television.
The multi-talented actress will star opposite Matthew Broderick on an untitled CBS sitcom (writen by Tad Quill of Scrubs) that stars the actor as Jay, a widowed father ready to start dating again.
Chenoweth - a Broadway star who recent TV credits include Glee, The Good Wife and GCB - will portray Jay's judgmental sister who works as a waitress.
Chenoweth and Broderick actually have a history together.
They co-starred in a 2003 ABC production of The Music Man.
