Lifetime Schedules Premiere of Devious Maids

Devious Maids will soon be coming to a living room near you.
The Lifetime drama - produced by Marc Cherry and Eva Longoria and starring Ana Ortiz, Dania Ramirez, Roselyn Sanchez, Edy Ganem and Judy Reyes - will premiere on Sunday, June 23 at 10 p.m.
The series is based around a quintet of maids who work in Beverly Hills.
Similar to Desperate Housewives, it will kick off with the characters responding to a death, taking on a campy, fun tone and dealing with such issues as race and wealth inequality.
Devious Maids is based on the telenovela Ellas son la AlegrÃa del Hogar and produced by ABC Studios.
