Brian Austin Green Promoted to Series Regular on Anger Management

Selma Blair is out. Brian Austin Green is in.

Just days after Charlie Sheen forced out Blair as his co-star, the FX hit has promoted Green, who debuted last season as Sean, the boyfriend of Charlie's ex-wife Jen.

Green - the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum who was last seen on TBS' Wedding Band - will serve as an antagonist to Sheen's main character. Look for him to pop up again around midseason of Season 2.

The sitcom, meanwhile, is also seeking to cast a "sexy" new female lead to replace Blair, according to network insider. All we know at the moment is that this new love interest will not be a therapist like Sheen's troubled lead.
