Ashley is out... and Patrick Harper is in?

ABC sources confirm that a major recurring character will debut on the Revenge Season 3 premiere, as viewers will meet Victoria's first born son, who was put up for adoption when he was six months old.

Look for the character to be charming, but also possess a dark side. Hmmmm... we wonder where he got that from?

No word yet on what actors are up for the role, but go ahead and cast Patrick in our Revenge forum. (UPDATE: Justin Hartley has landed the role!)

Dr. Jorge Lopez, a South American doctor, will also debut on the premiere. Sources say he will called upon regarding Ashley... which doesn't bode well for that aspiring socialite's fate.
