Chris Wood to Have "Huge Impact" on The Carrie Diaries

In the words of executive producer Amy B. Harris, Chris Wood is set to make a "huge impact" on The Carrie Diaries.
The young actor (Girls, Major Crimes) has been cast on multiple episodes of The CW drama as Adam Weaver, a playwright who will strike up both a professional and a personal relationship with the show's title character.
Harris tells TV Line that this romance will play an integral role in the Carries "coming of age story and will have profound repercussions for her and Sebastian."
The Carrie Diaries returns on October 25 and recently announced a pair of other major casting scoops:
- Molly Sims will compete with Carrie as a love interest for Sebastian.
- Lindsey Gort will come on board as a young version of Samantha Jones.
