About two weeks after releasing a gun-wrenching Homeland Season 3 promo, Showtime has given fans two more reasons to be excited for the return of this incredible drama.

First, the network has unveiled the first official Season 3 poster, which depicts the close-up faces of Saul, Carrie and Brody, with the latter giving an (evil? suspecting? alluring?) eye toward Carrie. The simple tagline attached to the promotional photo? PLEDGE ALLEGIANCE.

We don't know much, of course, about Homeland Season 3, except that Brody will be on the run from charges that he detonated an explosive at CIA headquarters, while Carrie and Saul will be forced to defend their actions in front of Congress.

New episodes kick off September 29 and Showtime has also posted a new, haunting trailer with various teases of what's to come. View it now:
