What about back in time?

The network has given us our very first look at the upcoming series premiere of The Originals, an episode that was an unusual challenge for Julie Plec and company to write, considering they already introduced viewers to Marcel and company in April's backdoor pilot, via an episode of The Vampire Diaries.

But this October 3rd opener will tell the same story from Elijah's perspective, as he deals with pesky brother Klaus... comforts a pregnant Hayley... and also flashes back to much earlier days with his brother and his father.
