Leighton Meester and Adam Brody are engaged, according to a new report.

If this is true ... your inner 15-year-old is no doubt swooning over the news.

The web is abuzz with reports that after 10 months of dating, Leighton Meester and Adam Brody are now engaged to be married after his surprise proposal.

“Leighton and Adam are crazy about each other and have talked about getting married eventually,” says a source. “But she had no idea he would propose!"

"It was the surprise of her life and she’s absolutely ecstatic!”

“Right now their plan is to get married next summer ... they are still deciding if they want a destination wedding or if they’ll marry in Southern California.”

We hear that Newport Beach is lovely any time of year.

Fingers crossed that this report is accurate, in which case "ecstatic" will also sum up the feelings of fans of the former Gossip Girl star and former The OC star.

Seriously. Seth and Blair getting married? Unreal.

Engaged or not, Adam Brody, 33, and Leighton Meester, 27, have been friends for years, but in January of this year, their relationship turned romantic.

Will it last forever? We. Can. Only. Hope.
