The Vampire Diaries

The Vampire Diaries is set to introduce its first gay character.

A casting notice sent out this week by The CW outlined a search for a new Whitemore student named Luke.

Look for him to be good-looking and sarcastic and to grow close to Caroline, but not to become any kind of love interest for that blonde bombshell of a character.

As reported by E! News, Luke will also have a sister on campus, someone he will go to extreme lengths to protect.
