Jesse L. Martin is about to pull his badge back out.
The Law & Order alum has signed on as Detective West in the upcoming pilot of The Flash, an Arrow spinoff that will star Grant Gustin as forensics investigator Barry Allen.
The character was introduced a few weeks ago on Arrow Season 2.
West is described as a trustworthy father figure to Gustin’s hero, who will star in his own pilot that CW executives will screen this spring before deciding whether or not to order the drama to series.
Arrow producers Andrew Kreisberg and Greg Berlanti will helm the project.
