HBO has confirmed that viewers will go inside The Newsroom for a third season.

Aaron Sorkin will return as executive producer for what the network has also confirmed will be the show's final season, with former The Office showrunner Paul Lieberstein also coming on board as a producer.

“The Newsroom is classic Aaron Sorkin – smart, riveting and thought-provoking,” said HBO Programming president Michael Lombardo in a statement. “I’m sure this farewell season will be one to remember.” Returning cast regulars include Jeff Daniels, Emily Mortimer, Sam Waterston, John Gallagher, Jr., Alison Pill, Thomas Sadoski, Dev Patel and Olivia Munn.

No word yet when Season 3 will premiere, but you can go watch The Newsroom online to catch up before it does.
