Days of Our Lives Recap: Will Says Yes!

at .

I thought it would be months before Will finally gave Sonny a real answer to his proposal. I can't tell you how happy I am to be wrong.

It will be the first wedding of it's kind in Salem when Sonny and Will finally get married - and I, for one, can't wait. Whether it's weeks or months away, I just hope it really happens.

Will and Sonny

Will's proposal to Sonny was sweet and romantic. I half expected him to get down on one knee but I suppose Sonny's already done that.

My only concern is that Sonny and Will both seem young, but then again age is a fluid thing in Salem. I'm no longer even sure how old they're both suppose to be.

Wait. That's not my only concern. Nick will certainly be a factor. As much as they don't want him there I have no doubt the little weasel will try to crash the ceremony just to be an annoying thorn in their sides. Heck, it wouldn't surprise me if he convinces Gabi to bring him along as her date.

But those worries are for later. Today, Will and Sonny are officially engaged. Let's just take a moment to enjoy it.

Because other couples in Salem aren't nearly so lucky.

I can't believe that Nicole is hiding the evidence that can clear Eric.  I know her judgment isn't always the best but for weeks she's been lamenting how she didn't want to play second best to the church. Now she's willing to not only take second place but live with the lie. It's disappointing and frustrating and I really hope they have her change her mind and come clean…soon.

JJ got a year probation and 100 hours community service but does the probation mean that Teresa can continue to control him for another year? JJ seemed suitably nervous and having Aidan step in as his attorney gave the guy something else to do besides snipe at Hope.

After the sentencing I was left with two questions. Where the heck is Justin and why doesn't Jennifer own a top with sleeves. It's February! Everyone else has jackets and Jennifer's constantly sleeveless. It's just weird.

But my second favorite scene of the day (the WilSon proposal ranks #1), is Victor confronting Brady.

Brady: You don't trust me, still.
Victor: Should I? It's 10:30 in the morning and you just threw down 3 ounces of 80 proof.

I love how Victor tells it like it is. And he gets soft pretzels at museums.
