The CIA source was a woman who helped kill a high profile Afghani target to try to gain respect for the women in her country. For her safety, she was removed to America and could never return.

Brennan is feeling the pain of being a woman when she's discovered to be a higher risk in the field than Booth by her insurance company and subjected to higher premiums. 

Daisy failed her oral exams but a surprising talk with Brennan gives her a new perspective.
