Viewers were presented with a lot of new information on Scandal Season 3 Episode 12.
There was a trip into Mellie's past, along with a focus on Andrew and Adnan Salif and the revelation that, yes, Quinn still wants to be a spy.
Fitz and Olivia met in a hotel room for a "campaign meeting" to open the crazily awesome hour, pretty much just having sex and causing Olivia to stand up for the disrespectful way the President treated her.
About time, right? We need Olivia to actually live her life and not sit (lie?) around for Fitz to eventually be out of office
Elsewhere, we learned that Mellie tried to kill herself following Big Jerry raping her. Serious stuff. Sad stuff. Frightening stuff.
