Bart borrows $20 from Homer, and his father harasses him constantly to return. To make the $20 he owes Homer, Bart eats a dead frog.

As a result, none of the kids will talk to him or let him sit next to them on the bus. The school bullies pick on him, but luckily a new transfer student named Digbsy saves him with his trained falcon Freedom.

Diggs introduces Bart to the world of falconry and the two become friends.

However, when Diggs jumps out a tree in attempt to fly, it's clear that he has some mental problems. He is placed in a mental hospital, but gets a day pass to compete in a falconry competition. With Bart's help, Diggs frees all the caged birds.
