Parks and Recreation Review: Two Million Dollars

at .  Updated at .

Woah! I haven't seen triplets used in a pregnancy comedy storyline since Phoebe in Friends!

Parks and Recreation Season 6 Episode 20 was a lovely half hour and it would be foolish not to start with the most important storyline. There isn't just one baby, not two, but three little Knope-Wyatts in Leslie! Holy cow!

Well, if anyone can parent efficiently, I'm willing to bet it's Leslie Knope, so I'm completely stoked that they went this way with her pregnancy.

And the cool thing about sitcoms? Nothing bad will happen to these children. They will be born, be comic relief and then semi-forgotten about. Although that last one might be tricky with triplets.

Great comedy tonight on all fronts, especially from April and Larry. I definitely have to give it to Aubrey Plaza - her look of utter disgust when she reached up Larry's back to scratch him was pure comic gold. And Ron's mustache-y smile when Joe gave him a handmade tool? Also lovely.

I love that Retta is now in the credits and Donna's role is bigger. It makes sense that Ann and Chris are living in Michigan that Donna would have a bigger part in the office.

Although Tom was completely left out of this episode! It would have been pretty great to see his fashionista take on the public school style costuming.

As for the charity auction, I did enjoy Leslie's attempts to remain calm at every turn. And I suppose that can be sustained with only next week's finale left. My guess? The show jumps forward to the end of Leslie's pregnancy at the beginning of season 7. Easier on all accounts.

Either way, I'm excited to see Leslie and Ben make decisions informed by their triplets and continue to really carve out a life for themselves. Goodness, I have to wonder if Leslie is going to be a mother of three, what does her future hold?

That's not to say she'll want to be a stay at home mom, but those kids will definitely be huge factors in Leslie's decision to take that Chicago job.

At any rate, I thought this was a great way to go into the Parks and Recreation Season 6 finale next week. I can't wait to see my favorite characters continue to grow, make informed decisions, and screw things up along the way.

Will Leslie and Ben raise their triplets in Pawnee?

Parks and Recreation Season 6 Episode 20 Quotes

Andy, I was nice to Larry. I scratched his back and had a conversation with him! It was horrible! How could you do that to me?

April

Andy, if you have a secret, you have to tell me. That’s the whole point of marriage! You get twice the secrets!
