Following another hiatus, The Vampire Diaries Season 5 returns tonight with a new episode.
It will then air another new episode next week... and the week after that... and the week after that. Nothing but fresh installments each Thursday night up through the finale on May 15.
Most fans agree this has been a somewhat uneven season, one filled with unexplained Travelers, an overabundance of Dopplegangers and not nearly enough shots of Jeremy in a tanktop.
But it's not too late! The series can still turn itself around and leave us starving for Season 6.
