Seth Gilliam on The Walking Dead: First Look!

Seth Gilliam is coming to The Walking Dead.
The actor, best known for his role on The Wire, will bring a famous comic character to life on AMC this fall when he premieres as Father Gabriel Stokes.
The priest offers the survivors shelter in his church as he an attempt to atone for past sins in the graphic novel… but will he be similarly benevolent on screen?
Gilliam didn't provide details in a chat with Entertainment Weekly, but he does tell the magazine that he binge-watched the entire series after he was cast and quickly came to a realization.
"The show’s about a whole lot more than just zombies, which I was really excited by," Gilliam says.
The Walking Dead Season 5 kicks off on October 12 and you can read a lot more about Gilliam and other new characters in the upcoming issue of EW.
