At the conclusion of The Big Bang Theory Season 7, of course, Jim Parsons’ character hopped on a train to clear his mind of issues that ranged from Penny and Leonard’s engagement to the comic store burning down.
Where did he end up?
According to the official synopsis for The Big Bang Theory Season 8 Episode 1... Arizona!
Titled “The Locomotion Interruption,” the September 22 opener will find “Leonard and Amy [taking] an unexpected road trip to Arizona to pick up Sheldon,” according to CBS.
Meanwhile, the network adds that "Penny interviews for a job at Bernadette’s company, and Howard is weirded out by Stuart’s relationship with Mrs. Wolowitz."
The Big Bang Theory Season 8 will kick off with TWO episodes on this Monday date before moving back to Thursdays on October 30.
The second half of the premiere doubleheader will be titled "The Junior Professor Solution." Here is the official rundown:
When Sheldon is forced to teach a class, Howard surprises everyone by taking it. Meanwhile, the tension between Penny and Bernadette gives Amy a chance to play both sides.
