Friends Turns 20: Relive Classic Cast Photos, 236 Seconds of Hilarity

Two decades ago to the day, television viewers realized that no one told them life was gonna be this way.

Their job was a joke. They were broke. And their love life was totally DOA.

It was difficult news to handle, except for the fact that we weren't going through it alone. We had Ross and Rachel; Monica and Ross; Chandler, Phoebe, Ugly Naked Guy, Gunther, Smelly Cat and so many other characters we grew to love over the lifetime of Friends.

Incredibly, that beloved sitcom premiered on September 22, 1994. That's a very long time ago.

It lives on today in reruns seemingly around the clock, but we've taken a few moments to acknowledge this 20-year old milestone via a number of classic cast photos.
