Love will be in the air this fall for Alaric Saltzman.
As previously reported, the returning teacher (and vampire) will be serving a college professor when we meet back up with him on The Vampire Diaries Season 6, helping to comfort Elena in her time of grief and also cozying up to Elena's new pre-med mentor.
Her name will be Jo, she'll be played by Jodi Lyn O’Keefe and Entertainment Weekly has given us our first look at the actress in character:
Jo will be a tough doctor at the university hospital and we even hear that she may move in with Alaric. Serious stuff!
The Vampire Diaries Season 6 Episode 1 will be titled "I'll Remember" and it will air on Thursday, October 2 on The CW.
