Agent Phil Coulson spouts many words of wisdom in the first trailer for Marvel's Agents of SHIELD Season 2.

Following the shocking development toward the end of Season 1 - that Hydra has effectively dismantled the SHIELD agency - Coulson’s narration is a call to covert action, as he and his team members must operate from the shadows this fall.

"The enemy has the advantage, but we have to fight on for those we've lost, so the sacrifices they made were not made in vain," Coulson says, adding in the teaser:

"This is a make or break moment."

Marvel's Agents of SHIELD Season 2 premieres on September 23 at 9/8c on ABC.
