It's official. We have our first casualty of the 2014 fall television season.

Manhattan Love Story wasn't shown as much love as ABC hoped and it got the ax.

Plans Go Awry - Manhattan Love Story

The Tuesday comedy starred Analeigh Tipton and Jake McDorman and chronicled their new relationship. Comedies are really suffering this season, but last week Manhattan Love Story only received 2.8 million viewers and a .7 rating in the 18-49 demographic.

In its place, ABC will air a second episode of Selfie starring Karen Gillan and John Cho about a social media darling who enlists a marketing expert to change her life after a personal crisis. Although it's not a breakthrough hit by any means, it did garner 3.8 million viewers in the 18-49 demographic for a 1.1 rating.

What's next? Place your bets people, because the first horse just crossed the finish line!
