Bottoms up, Vampire Diaries Fanatics!
The CW has unveiled new photos from The Vampire Diaries Season 6 Episode 4 ("Black Hole Sun," set to air on October 16) and they focus entirely on Stefan and Elena.
It looks like the ex-lovers will be enjoying some time in a bar together in a few weeks (when not confronting fellow patrons, that is), as the official network synopsis teases that Stefan will attempt "to show Elena what it’s like to start over and create a new identity."
Does that mean she successfully erased Damon from her mind? We doubt it.

Elsewhere on this Vampire Diaries Season 6 episode, Damon will revisit one of the worst days of his life in order to find his way home; Alaric will have an awkward run-in with Jo and also help Jeremy get his life on track; while Tripp will reveal a dark secret to Matt.
The Vampire Diaries Season 6 Episode 4 will be titled "Black Hole Sun" and it will air on Thursday, October 16 at 8/7c.
