TV Ratings Report: TVD Rises, How to Get Away With Murder Falls

Like the Damon and Bonnie in 1994, The Vampire Diaries Season 6 Episode 3 offered viewers a ray of hope.

It garnered 1.9 million total viewers and a 0.9 demo rating among young adults, good enough for a 12 percent increase and finally some good news for this long-running drama.

Elsewhere on The CW, Reign shot up 25 percent, thanks to 1.5 million total viewers and a .5 rating.

ON ABC, Grey’s Anatomy Season 11 (8.5 million/2.4) held firm, Scandal Season 4 (9.8 million/2.9) ticked up and How to Get Away With Murder (9.7 million/2.7) finally fell a bit, dropping 10 and 13 percent, respectively.

ON FOX, Bones (6.4 million/1.6) didn’t change from last week, but Gracepoint (3.8 million/0.8) continued to struggle.

ON NBC, The Biggest Loser (4.7 million/1.3) rose a tenth, Bad Judge (4.7 million/1.2) went in the opposite direction by the same amount, and both A to Z (3.4 million/1.0) and Parenthood (4.1 million/1.3) were steady
