Love & Hip Hop Hollywood Season 1 Episode 10 Review: Gossip Girl

at .  Updated at .

If someone told me by this point in the season Masika and Berg would be a couple and Ray J would be going out of his way to apologize to Teairra, I would have never believed it.

But that's exactly what happened on Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood Season 1 Episode 10. And I'm still not sure how I feel about any of it.

There is something so weird and phony about Masika and Berg's relationship. Up until a few weeks back, I didn't even know they were friends and now they are madly in love? For real?

I retired my Team Masika jersey a while back but I was hoping one day that maybe, just maybe, I'd get to dust it off and put it back on. Well, tonight was not that night.

Things between Masika and Berg just kept getting weirder and weirder all night. First, they were in the studio, where Masika was singing on Hazel's old song. And there Berg asked her to be his date for his all white party.

Masika, who very recently claimed she had no interest in Berg whatsoever, gladly accepted the invitation and the two of them got super weird at the party.

By the way, was it just me or did that not look like the most exciting white party in the world? Sadly, a Diddy Hampton's all white extravaganza it was not.

Anyway, Berg thought he'd invite Hazel to the party, thinking her seeing him with another girl would make her see it was really over. That's some genius level thinking, Berg. Not.

The whole thing blew up of course because Berg and Masika had to be all lovey dovey (gross) and Masika had to debut her song at the party (double gross). This led to an altercation that started with Berg and Hazel, then somehow included Masika, Teairra and Sincere.

It was making my head spin. And it was all just so embarrassing for Hazel.

Later, we got the weirdest scene of all, as Berg and Masika laid in bed and discussed their future. Kind of interesting that at different points in the season they were both LAYING IN BED WITH OTHER PEOPLE HAVING SIMILAR CONVERSATIONS!!!

They must have fallen in love off screen.

Elsewhere, Ray J decided it was time to make amends with Teairra after the talk with his Dad in Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood Season 1 Episode 9. It's becoming very clear these two can't be friends.

I'll give Ray J some credit for attempting to be mature, but it really was too little, too late. He's spent a lot of time being harsh to Teairra and did he really expect her to just let bygones be bygones?

Their chat led him to infer that Morgan was feeding Teairra information about his relationship with Princess and that really got his blood boiling. The talk between Ray J and Morgan went disastrously and I don't see how their friendship can be repaired.

After the birth of their son last week, Omarion and Apryl talked with Miss Leslie and it's good to see they are all on good terms right now. You know who's not on good terms? Apryl and her mother.

Their talk in the kitchen was painful, as it was clear Apryl was hoping to get years and years worth of answers in a single conversation. Maybe it was the cameras or maybe it was the sudden onslaught of questions, but either way her mother wanted no parts of answering any questions.

With Apryl clearly seeking some affection and guidance from her mother, it would be nice if we got another scene between mother and daughter that led to an understanding.

We didn't get to spend much time with Nia and Soulja tonight, but the time we did spend with them was sad, to say the least.

Nia found out she was pregnant. And Soulja was all the way in Brazil.

When she reached out to tell him the news, he was in a very tiny room, surrounded by a lot of people. It wasn't exactly the right time to tell him the news and I totally agreed with her frustration.

Unfortunately, she never got the chance to tell him because she had a miscarriage. Watching her walk out of the hospital alone, with no support system, broke my heart.

So, what did you guys think of this installment? Masika and Berg? Honestly? Do you think Ray J and Teairra can ever be civil?

Next week we get Brandy (!) and apparently a date between Fizz and Nikki, which I am NOT happy about. In the meantime, watch Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood online right now so you're all caught up.
