Once Upon a Time Season 4 Episode 6 Review: Family Business

at .  Updated at .

Magic always comes with a price and many in Storybrooke were paying it on Once Upon a Time Season 4 Episode 6.

I kept wondering why Belle wouldn't tell Elsa she knew her sister but I suppose the guilt of having grabbed for the memory rock before trying to save Anna's life was simply too much for her.

Belle had the best story arc she's had in quite a while as she stared into the Snow Queen's evil magic mirror and saw the worst of herself. Was that simply a reflection of her inner fears looking back at her when it said, "Deep down, you know what kind of beast you're dealing with."

Does Belle secretly worry that Rumple doesn't truly love her? That she's just easy to manipulate and control? There is some truth to that. Rumple gave her a fake dagger which she never openly questioned until this episode. Was that because the mirror made her doubt him or were those doubts there all along?

Considering the way Belle turned on Rumple, it should be interesting to watch everyone in Storybrooke turn on one another. What are there worst fears when it comes to those close to them? There's a part of me that wants to find out.

The Snow Queen's past just continued to get more mysterious. What happened to her younger sister Helga? Why would her parents want to erase all memory and mention of them and where did they go when they disappeared?

It's obvious that Ingrid felt as though members of her family turned on her and that the only people who could understand her have some sort of powers. I know that the scroll said Emma was the savior but I'm still a little lost on how that makes her Ingrid's new sister. I'm hoping they clarity that as the story continues.

Some of my favorite moments were the hunt for the ice cream truck. As usual Regina and Emma had some great banter as in this Once Upon a Time quote...

Regina: It's bad enough I'm stuck with you and Captain Guyliner making eyes at each other.
Emma: I don't make eyes.

Unfortunately, we didn't get many scenes with Regina and I'm really hoping they delve into her and Henry searching for the author of the book soon. However, it was heartbreaking when she confessed to Robin that she wasn't sure she could break the curse on Marian. Worse yet, that the only way to break the curse might be with true love's kiss, in which case Robin would need to fall back in love with his wife. If that doesn't prove that Regina's changed I don't know what will.

Are some secrets better off being left buried? Are Elsa and Emma really the Snow Queen's family and why didn't Rumple use the sorcerer's hate on her when he had the chance?
