TV Ratings Report: Law & Order SVU Cops Crossover Boost

The Peacock has plenty to crow about Wednesday night.

The Voice results show brought in a healthy 10.6 million viewers for NBC, while the Law & Order: SVU/Chicago PD crossover event saw an increase of 43 percent in total viewers (10 million) and 50 percent among those 18-49 (2.4 rating), garnering SVU's biggest audience since 2010.

Chicago PD then concluded the two-night, three-program crossover with 9.5 million viewers and a 2.2 rating. Both represented huge gains from the previous new episode.

Elsewhere around the dial:

  • Arrow Season 3 Episode 6 (2.6 million/0.9) mostly held steady, while The 100 Season 2 Episode 4 (1.8 million/0.6) increased in both total viewers and the demographic rating.
  • On CBS... Survivor (9.4 million/2.3) maintained its previous audience; Criminal Minds (10.1 million/2.3) ticked up 3 and 10 percent; and Stalker (7 million/1.3) dropped 4 and 13 percent.
  • ABC held close to steady across the board, with the numbers ending up at the following: The Middle (8.1 million/1.9); The Goldbergs (7.5 million/2.1); Modern Family (9.8 million/3.1); black-ish (7.9 million/2.5); Nashville (5.6 million/1.3).
