TV Ratings Report: Revenge Rises, The Simpsons Soar

The reunion between father and daughter proved to be successful on Revenge Season 4 Episode 7, as the installment rose 10 percent (to 5.2 million) in total viewers and one-tenth (to 1.3) among 18-49-year olds.

Elsewhere on ABC, Once Upon a Time Season 4 Episode 7 (7.4 million/2.5) dropped down one tenth; while Resurrection (4.5 million/1.2) fell 10 percent and two tenths, respectively.

Around the dial...

  • CSI returned after a two-week absence to 8.6 million viewers and 1.2 rating among young adults; Madam Secretary fell by 5 percent in total viewers (12.6 million) and 22 percent in the key demographic (1.4); The Good Wife (10.7 million/1.4) held steady.
  • Sunday Night Football on NBC was the most-watched program of the night.
  • The Simpsons crossed over with Futurama and grew by 57 in total viewers (6.6 million) and 45 percent (2.9) among the key demographic; Brooklyn Nine-Nine (4 million/1.8) increased by 18 percent overall; Family Guy (3.6 million/1.8) dropped 23 and 28 percent from its previous new episode, and Mulaney drew 2 million viewers... which actually represented a 25 percent boost from last Sunday.
