Fox Renews Empire, Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Gotham

Fox announced new season renewals for a trio of solidly performing shows today at Television Critics Association winter press tour.
Gotham and Empire will both return in 2015-2016 for a second season; while Andy Samberg's Brooklyn Nine-Nine will come back for a third season.
Gotham and Empire both premiered this year to strong numbers; each sit among the Top 5 dramas of the TV season in the coveted 18-49-year old demographic, while Brooklyn Nine-Nine is enjoying the largest year-to-year demographic gain (up 17 percent) of any sophomore series.
In other Fox news, the network announced that Julianne Hough will star as Sandy and Vanessa Hudgens as Rizzo in the musical adaption of Grease.
It will air on Sunday, January 31, 2016.
