Game of Thrones: Headed to the Big Screen

Game of Thrones is coming to a theater near you.
HBO has reached a deal in which it will show the final two episodes from Game of Thrones Season 4 in IMAX at approximately 150 movie theaters around the country from January 23-29.
Audiences at these screenings will also be treated to an extended Game of Thrones Season 5 trailer.
“The cinematic brilliance and grand scope of the series is perfect for the IMAX format,” Pamela Levine, chief marketing officer at HBO, said via a statement, adding:
“We are always looking to provide fans with new and exciting ways to experience the show and viewing two key episodes, along with the new trailer, on such an impressive platform makes for a great event.”
No premiere date for Game of Thrones Season 5 has been announced by the network, but look for new episodes to hit the small screen in April.
