Oliver Platt Set to Visit The Good Wife

at .  Updated at .

March seems a long way off, but we have some news of The Good Wife Season 6 to tide you over as you wait for the series to return.

Oliver Platt will be joining the show for a multi-episode arc as a passionate hunter named R.D. Of course, hunting isn't his only passion, as he's also a politically conservative businessman who loves a good debate with a worthy adversary.

R.D. is also described as intelligent and approachable. We know Alicia has been covering most of the political arguments lately, but did the hint of a new conservative send tingles down your spine and cause you to wish hopefully Diane's husband Kurt McVeigh may be making an appearance? Us too!!

As it turns out, Gary Cole will be reprising his role as McVeigh in March, but we don't know if his visit will coincide with that of Platt's R.D. It sure sounds like they'd be fast friends, doesn't it? Honestly, it's about time for a Diane-centric installment and one where she's out showing off her marksmanship with her man while they chat with this new fellow, R.D., sounds nice to me. Just in case anybody's listening.

Alicia: Same as there only without the fees, resources or muffins.

There is a mutiny brewing below deck and we are going to start losing good, young associates because of him.
