How to Get Away with Murder Season 1 Episode 11 Review: Best Christmas Ever

at .

Well, that didn't take long did it? How to Get Away with Murder Season 1 Episode 11 ends with a pretty shocking reveal, so if you didn't get a chance to see the final seconds, I'm warning you!

Sam's remains were found! If we thought everyone was losing it now, then this news is going to send them over a cliff.

Aside from that ending, this was a really good episode and it's pretty clear that we are approaching the finish line in regards to season one. Things are starting to come back full circle, as we were reminded of the weird markings on Wes's bedroom wall from How to Get Away With Murder Season 1 Episode 1 and we saw Aiden again.

We also got back down to business this week with a rather creepy case involving a husband and wife keeping two young girls hostage in their basement. The wife Jackie came to Annalise looking to turn her husband in, claiming that the husband was holding the two girls and raping them because she couldn't get pregnant.

The story was awfully disturbing and everyone but Annalise seemed to be against helping this woman. I didn't really know what to make of Jackie at first, but as the episode wore on it was clear that she wasn't exactly being truthful.

While she claimed to be helping the girls as much as she could, she was also drugging them. Because to her, that was better than having them suffer through her husband's violence.

You've never been raped, have you? Because I have been. By him, before him, as a child. And the memory of that is worse than what happens to you. So yes, I helped put them to sleep. But only so they wouldn't have the memories.

Jackie [to Annalise]

Still, the fact that she had years upon years to help these girls was hard to get past. It wasn't until Wes discovered that the child of one of the girls wasn't actually dead, that things started to fall into place. Jackie was raising the child as her own. When she saw her husband starting to look at the child in a menacing way, she decided it was time to put a stop to things.

I couldn't believe Jackie left the girl in a cabin the whole time she was going through this process and looking for a plea deal. Seeing the little girl walk into the police station was a huge weight lifted off Annalise's shoulder and I was glad she lied to Jackie about the plea deal. She needs some serious, serious help.

How To Get Away With Murder Season 1 Episode 10 ended with the arrival of Sam's sister Hannah and she was quite the pistol. She came in proclaiming Sam's innocence and it was interesting to hear her describe a man we as an audience seldom saw.

Annalise let her know really quickly that the Sam she described was not the man Sam truly was.

He is not the man we thought he was.

Annalise [to Hannah]

Not only was she questioning Annalise, she was following her around too! Now clearly Annalise Keating knows a thing or two about being followed and I loved how brazen she was when she invited Hannah in to meet hot Nate.

Also, this thing between hot Nate and Annalise is pretty real, huh? I will never complain about hot Nate scenes, especially those of the shirtless variety, but their love affair is just so strange. And them talking about his sick wife in bed was a little too much, even if she does apparently approve.

It's interesting to see how that night is continuing to change everyone and their relationships. I LOVED the little holiday flashbacks we got of everyone.

Annalise was unraveling, drinking the mini-bar away for a week straight. On the other hand, Laurel was continuing her badassery and sticking it to her stuck up family.

Connor was playing doting uncle and also claiming Oliver as his boyfriend. Their scenes together were very cute tonight, but I don't blame Oliver for being scared when it comes to Connor. Oliver is all emotion and Connor is surrounded by a ten foot wall. If Connor can just break down that wall a bit and start to let people in, it would do wonders for his emotional state.

Frank is still slinking in the background taking care of all the shady business, but I did like his scenes with Asher. And poor, poor Asher. He just wants Bonnie to like him!

Bonnie: I crossed a line with you, yes. But we are both professionals here and you need to grow up and start respecting me if we are gonna keep--
Asher: You hurt my feelings. A lot. And I know I should be used to it now because everyone here makes fun of me all the time but you didn't. And then you were mean to me for now reason. Yeah, whatever. I'll, I'll stop being a jerk.

Now guys, I think this may have been my turning point episode when it comes to Michaela. I thought she was pretty great tonight and now that her shame relationship with Aiden is on the rocks, I think she'll get better.

While mostly everyone was home for the holidays, Wes and Rebecca were holed up in North Philly. The mystery surrounding the markings on Wes's wall came up again, as mail for the old tenant Rudy came to the apartment. Wes began to ponder why he would still be receiving mail there and it's a valid question to ask.

At this point it has been months since Rudy lived there, so surely his grandmother would know he moved. So, what the hell happened to Rudy? Theories, anyone? He's got to be connected to all this somehow. Right?

Also, Wes is in a bad, bad place.

I can't sleep without having nightmares. I'm scared I might be going crazy.

Wes

It looks like things are only going to get worse for him. And the rest of our murderous crew.

We are sprinting to the home stretch now! What did you guys think about this week? It's only a matter if time before they find Michaela's ring, right? Anyone else think Bonnie is going to turn on Annalise? Did you like Hannah? Which couples are you rooting for?

Not much time left before the finale, so make sure you watch How to Get Away with Murder online right now so you're all caught up!

*NOTE: How To Get Away With Murder Season 1 Episode 12 will be titled "She's A Murderer" and will air on Thursday, February 12.
