Because Fox just announced it has renewed New Girl for Season 5!

Said David Madden, President, Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company, in making the announcement today:

"Four seasons in, New Girl continues to be one of the smartest and most relatable comedies on television. The writing is razor-sharp, the ensemble is consistently hilarious, and we couldn’t be more proud of Liz, Brett, Dave and the entire New Girl  team. We absolutely love this show and we’re so excited to bring it back for Season Five."

The sitcom will celebrate Episode 100 at some point during the upcoming fifth season.
