Are Sam and Dean going their separate ways?

It certainly seems like the two have different missions in these preview pictures for Supernatural Season 10 Episode 15.

Sam appears to be on the hunt for someone (or something), while providing some extra protection for a girl who is tagging along.

But things are going to get really interesting with Dean meeting up with Cole, who isn't looking so good. And is there something supernatural going on that causes Dean to give him a major shock?
