Wes Bentley Checks Into American Horror Story: Hotel

Edward Mordrake lives!

Not exactly, but you'll see one of the best characters from American Horror Story Season 4 as Wes Bentley will be a season regular on the upcoming American Horror Story: Hotel.

As is the fashion these days, Ryan Murphy made the casting announcement on Twitter this morning. Happy St. Patrick's Day to us all!

Bentley joins formerly announced Hotel cast members Lady Gaga, Matt Bomer and Cheyenne Jackson.

Who's missing from this list? Well, anyone who has previously been a staple from the series, begging the question if we're in for a reboot of what has previously been the successful formula of the series, utilizing regular cast members in alternating roles each season.

While both Bomer and Bentley appeared in American Horror Story: Freak Show, we have yet to receive word on anyone other than Jessica Lange, who has confirmed she is done with the series.

Sarah Paulsen and Emma Roberts are already attached to other Ryan Murphy projects. Paulsen will be in American Crime Story: The People v OJ Simpson as Marcia Clark, and Roberts will be appearing in Scream Queens, a horror anthology on Fox.

They're certainly sticking close enough to home base to make an appearance, but probably not for a starring role. We'll have to await news on favorites Evan Peters and Kathy Bates and others.

What do you think AHS Fanatics? Are you ready to switch things up, way up on American Horror Story?
