Poor Paul. He’s had a hell of a week. First the news of his tryst with Will was splashed across the papers, then Will paints him as the Superstar seducer, Sonny tells him his mother lied to him and now he’s staring at the man who hates him who just may be his daddy.
Nothing is ever dull in Salem. Perhaps Paul should have gotten on that plane out of town.
Will manipulates John. These were the most stomach turning scene of the week. Listening to Will paint Paul as the superstar with the big ego who swooped into town to seduce him and ruin his marriage. Just when I thought Will couldn’t sink any lower, he proved me wrong once again. Worse yet, John ate up every word.
On the upside, Sonny was on to his cheating spouse's web of lies and made sure Will had a front row seat when the truth spilled out all over Club TBD. My question is, what will Marlena say when John finds out she knew there was the possibility that Paul was his son and didn’t say a word?
Victor Tells Off Will. If Will and John were the worst of the week then Victor and Will were the best as Victor saw things quite clearly in this Days of Our Lives quote…
His sole goal was always to make you happy and obviously you're on the same page cause everything that you do is also to make you happy and to hell with anybody else.Victor
Victor couldn't have been more right when he said, "Oh God. You’re a clone of your mother. Everything you do is somebody else’s fault!" Even better was when Victor told Will, “You ever hurt Sonny again and the guy who came for you today is going to pay you another visit and it’s not going to be to chat.” I love Victor.
Unfortunately his own nephew is nothing but trouble. I didn’t expect Xander to be sticking around, nevermind turn out to be a Kiriakis. As a matter of fact I was hoping he would head out of town and take Serena with him. It doesn’t look like I’m going to get my wish.
In other news Nicole finally told off Daniel. Well, sort of…
I'm done getting slapped on the wrist for caring about you.Nicole
It was a weak rebuke but better than anything else we’ve heard from Nicole in a long time. When did she become so weak and needy?
Daniel and Jennifer had a blowout about her being a hypocrite. As much as I don’t like to side with Daniel, he was right. Jennifer was horrified when Daniel lied for Nicole to protect her unborn child from the Dimera’s but now she’s hiding this horrible secret from Paige. The big question is, is she doing it to give JJ his happy ending or to finally have some power over Eve?
It’s sad that in Jennifer’s eyes, everyone has made JJ make his bad decision. Eve made him sleep with her. Daniel made JJ tell him the truth. If her son is that malleable then I see even bigger problems ahead.
Now it’s time for our Days of Our Lives question of the week:
Should Marlena have gone to John with her suspicions about Paul’s paternity or not?
