Netflix is #SorryNotSorry for announcing the following news:
It has already given a green light to Orange is the New Black Season 4!
With the ladies of Litchfield Correctional Institution set to return with new episodes on Friday, June 12, the company confirmed via press release this morning that Season 4 will be released some time in 2016.
Just a few days ago, Netflix teased the return of Piper, Red, Crazy Eyes, Taystee, Poussey, Sophia, Nicky, Daya, Gloria, Big Boo and Pennsatucky via the first official trailer for Orange is the New Black Season 3.
It teases Alex's return and also features a look at Ruby Rose joining the cast as Stella.

Orange is the New Black has earned more than 20 awards, including:
- Three Emmy Awards
- Two SAG Awards
- Two AFI honors
- Three Critic’s Choice Television Awards
- One NAACP Image Award
- One PGA Award
- Two GLAAD Media Awards.
- It has also been the recipient of a Peabody Award and a Television Critics’ Association Award.
