Things are getting pretty messy on The Following Season 3 Episode 11

Ryan's drinking has spiraled out of control and Tom is digging quite the hole for himself.

How deep did it get? Let's dig right in and discuss!

I'm going to start with Tom, because, holy crap! I did not see that coming. I honestly had no idea where all this was going, and I still don't, but I can't wait for it to all come to a head. It was bad enough he was withholding evidence and falsifying his report, but now he has a dead body on his hands. Not just any body, but a dead agent who was questioning him.

Now I have to assume he's going to try to cover up the murder and get rid of the body, but the truth will come out eventually. Is Max ever going to find these damn cameras?

The real question is, will Daisy and Mark find Tom, and if so, will they help him cover this up in exchange for getting close to Mike? From the promos for next week, they get ahold of Mike somehow, so I'm guessing Tom plays some part in it. The guy's a jerk, but he's in way over his head now.

I understand that Mark is after Mike because he killed his mother and he obsessively tried to track him down, but he told Daisy that he was doing this for Luke. That doesn't really make sense since Max is the one who actually killed Luke, but oh well, not really important.

Is there something going on between Daisy and Mark? I can't tell if she's genuinely flirting with him or if she's playing him to stay on his good side. Mark is not someone who you'd want to get on his bad side.

Switching gears, let's move on to Ryan's downward spiral. He got drunk and woke up in bed with a random girl which leads Gwen to leave him and move out. Can't say I blame her, he's a mess and she's got a baby to protect. They say you have to hit rock bottom before you can pick yourself back up, but how much farther can Ryan fall? Is he going to get fired next? He certainly came close when he nearly killed their suspect.

It's a good thing he didn't though, because they now know that Theo has a foster sister. Now we know Theo's back story. He asked the Madman to kill his family when he was only ten years old. How messed up is that?

Theo's still on his mission to bring down Ryan and crashes a pretty disturbing party in order to make a deal with the owner of the mansion. I don't really know the significance of this yet since I'm pretty sure Theo was going to go after Ryan regardless, but I guess he needs more funding to get the job done.

Where do we go from here guys? Do you think Ryan will get his crap together and win Gwen back by the end of the season? Is he ever going to find out about this baby? Maybe Gwen can at least talk to Max in the meantime.

Mike and Max are getting closer. Do you want them back together? I personally think after one guy who left her and one guy who spied on her, maybe Max needs some alone time. She's going to have her hands full with her crazy, drunk uncle for awhile anyway.

The Following Season 3 Episode 11 Quotes

How? He's dead and you can't let him go. He owns a part of you that I can't reach. You know, I'm tired of trying.
