Orphan Black Season 3 Episode 8 Review: Ruthless in Purpose, and Insidious in Method

Does anyone else wonder when Tatianna Maslany finds the time to sleep? Honestly, I'm convinced that there might genuinely be six of her running around set at any given time.
Tonight, Orphan Black Season 3 Episode 8, introduced yet another clone for the club, Crystal. Will we ever see her again? Well, that's another matter entirely.
Crystal, the chatty blonde manicurist just down the road, turned out to be a bit of a ditz. It was bound to happen eventually, they can't all be biophysicists and grifters. On the other hand, Crystal wasn't content to just let her near abduction by Castor go, as we later found out.
How we found out... now that was the icing on the clone cake.
Can I just say that I've never felt so attracted to Felix as I did when he flipped on his American accent? Normally it's the other way around, since the British lilts tend to get girls going, but tonight I was all about flirty American Felix.
Wow, Fe, you don't have to shag her, just get her info.
Sarah
His confessional with Crystal was truly a shining moment for them both, though. The way Felix has bonded with all of Sarah's sisters is truly a testament to his character. Even this stranger – chatty and ditzy though she may be – inspires compassion in him. Enough to give her a few words of encouragement, at least.
Unfortunately for Crystal, things don't exactly go her way.
We all knew Rachel would be back in all her evil glory eventually, but I'm not sure anyone expected it to be so soon!
Escaping from Dyad, faking a coma, and kidnapping an innocent clone all in one day? That's leaps and bounds from the Rachel who could barely remember how to watercolor. Something tells me she might have been playing up her symptoms to appear less threatening.
Probably a smart move since Delphine was preparing to terminate her. Is it just me, or is Delphine a little more... cutthroat this season? It's not that I don't like it, she's just become very intense very fast. No one get in her way, she might just steamroll you right over.
On the suburban side of the street, Alison and Donnie filled out the hour with a few new additions to their household.
Not only is Helena now wearing collared pink cardigans, she's also living with the Henrixs. Felix made the good point that Helena is great with kids, so that shouldn't be an issue, but it's possible she could cause problems elsewhere. Now that she's taken a liking to Donnie, I'm not sure she's going to be happy to find him passed out on the floor after his fight with Jason.
Drug dealers might be scary, but I'm about 99% sure that Helena is way scarier.
Gracie appeared to fit in better with their wholesome neighborhood, but she was still raised in a cult. This could all go terribly wrong for the former Prolethean.
We're back on the Castor plot, but is anyone else a little upset that we're still not dealing with Paul's death?
I'm not asking for a funeral or a sobfest or anything monumental, but after last week's Alison-centric hour, I was expecting to see the focus shift a little bit more in Paul's direction. I could be giving him more credit than he's worth, and there's still time in the last leg of the season to come back around to it, but the grief is losing traction with every hour.
One plot point we can almost surely count on seeing before the end, is one or both of the original Castor and Leda clones.
Now that Rudy has Duncan's book (poor Scott, holding pets hostage should be against Geneva Convention laws or something), it looks like Castor might be ahead in the race to the genetic cure. Though with Rachel in a fake coma, and a copy in Delphine's possession, they might not be all that far ahead.
Of course we made a copy, we're not complete idiots.

Whichever way the cookie crumbles, it seems like we're finally heading back to where it all started for Sarah and Felix. London.
Coded nursery rhymes don't seem like a rock solid reason to make the hop across the pond, but you won't hear me complaining. Especially if we get to see more clones (boys or girls) with interesting accents. After all, we know there is a European branch of Leda with all their own clones running around. Maybe we'll meet some?
Though Tatianna Maslany might just pass out from exhaustion if they give her any more characters.
