The American Odyssey has come to an end on NBC.

"As you all know we have bn canceled," Horton wrote. "Had we been on cable wld have bn a hit Thx to all of u for bing our audience #thebest #AmericanOdyssey."
The producer later added that the decision by NBC was "Heartbreaking" and said to the show's fans:

American Odyssey starred Anna Friel as Sgt. Odelle, a woman forced to make a dangerous trek through the Middle East.
It premiered on Easter to 5.4 million viewers and a 1.2 rating among 18-49-year olds. But ratings for its Sunday finale were barely one-third of those original figures.
