The book is a success, but that will not satisfy Bill Masters.

On Masters of Sex Season 3 Episode 3, Bill made it his mission to turn the study into a medical school textbook, while Virginia and Betty were more concerned with finding potential investors.

So who did they go with? Let's dive in!

While it would have been interesting to see Bill and Hugh Hefner have a conversation, Bill was right in his assessment of teaming up with the man behind Playboy. It would look great for Hefner, but look terrible for Bill and Virginia.

I'm thrilled Josh Charles has joined this season. Dan Logan's introduction was intriguing and sexy.

His pitch for why he was interested in being an investor was so titillating, but simple, you would think he could be an adman next to Don Draper.

I can't wait to see more from him, and he'll definitely have some flirtatious moments with Virginia. We'll have to see how Bill handles that.

Speaking of Bill, when he wasn't fixating on Virginia's time management skills, he was busy trying to convince different universities to turn the study into a textbook.

It was a brilliant idea, but not everyone was chomping at the bit for it. Why Bill even bothered to go to Washington University was beyond me. They never even believed in the study. The book may be a success, but there's still too much scandal that comes along with it.

At least Bill's efforts brought him to Barton's door. It's been a long time since we've seen Barton, but not much has changed for the man. He's begun a new relationship with a woman who has no idea he is hiding his homosexuality. He also still lets people like Chancellor Fizhugh walk all over him.

I hope he takes Bill up on his offer and goes to work with him. Now we just need to know what Margaret has been up to!

Virginia hasn't had the easiest time lately with her sham marriage, a new baby, and an annoying teenage daughter. Virginia clearly excels in her professional life more than her personal one.

I love Betty, so it was great to see the two of them team up to meet with the investors. Still, Virginia was constantly reminded of her failures by Bill, Tessa, and even Tessa's school. The woman is being spread too thin. She can only be in one place at one time.

Sadly, Virginia had no idea the kind of turmoil Tessa was going through. Now, I'm not very fond of Tessa, but what happened to her in this episode was inexcusable.

I feared she would find herself in a situation she wasn't ready for, but what happened to her wasn't her fault. That boy played into her guilt and forced her to perform an act on him she obviously didn't want to do.

No girl deserves to have something like that happen to her. Unfortunately, Tessa didn't know how to proceed from there and pretended like everything was okay and even agreed to go out with that awful boy again.

Things weren't much better for Libby's neighbor, Joy. The woman wanted out of her marriage, but had Libby scolding her for wanting to do so.

Divorce wasn't nearly as common back then, but Joy seemed set in her decision. Her husband was a good man, but it wasn't enough for her.

Not one of those dreams has come true, and I don't see that changing, which means the rest of my life is this straight, flat highway right into the sunset.

I thought maybe at first the husband did something to Joy that put her in the hospital, but he seemed too disorientated and worried. If she survives her aneurysm or whatever it was, will she be the same? There's no way she can leave her husband now.

Maybe Libby should take a hint, because life is short, and you never know what may happen. She needs to go find her happiness while she still can.
