Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Secret Warriors-centric third season is right around the corner.
What do we know so far? Well, after an insane battle with Jiaying and her Inhumans, Coulson will work hard to rebuild his organization. This time around the team will feature S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, as well as superpowered individuals. However, another group led by Rosalind Price called the ATCU (Advanced Threat Containment Unit) is also recruiting Inhumans. Chances are they're up to no good.
Plus, the Terrigen crystals that fell in the ocean are unlocking latent abilities introducing new Inhumans. Simmons vanished into the Kree monolith. Eeek! And traitor Grant Ward is hell-bent on revenge and rebuilding Hydra. Yeah, our heroes are going to be busy.

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is back for Season 3, starring Brett Dalton as Grant Ward, Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Jemma Simmons, Iain De Caestecker as Agent Leo Fitz, Ming-Na Wen as Agent Melinda May, Chloe Bennet as Agent Daisy Johnson, Clark Gregg as Director Phil Coulson, Nick Blood as Agent Lance Hunter, Adrianne Palicki as Agent Bobbi Morse, Henry Simmons as Agent Alphonso “Mack” MacKenzie and Luke Mitchell as Lincoln Campbell.
2. Clark Gregg as Director Phil Coulson - Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Clark Gregg returns as Director Phil Coulson. This season S.H.I.E.L.D. learns of another organization that's seeking out powered people. How will his team deal with this threat?
3. Coulson 3.0 - Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
When last we saw Coulson, he lost his hand after touching the Obelisk. Well, Mack severed it to avoid the thing killing him. Will Deathlok technology be used to replace it? How will Coulson and Daisy handle their new Inhuman allies?
4. Chloe Bennet as Agent Daisy Johnson - Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Skye has undergone a change as well. This season, she will officially be known as Agent Daisy Johnson. That will take some getting used to, won't it? Will she be codenamed "Quake"?
5. The Quake Suit - Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Speaking of "Quake," here's Daisy in her badass Season 3 uniform. She's come a long way since that troublemaking hacker we met in the first season. What do you think of the character now?
6. Ming-Na Wen as Agent Melinda May - Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Agent May took an impromptu vacation with ex-husband Andrew. Will she return ready to kick some butt, or are we going to see a softer side to Melinda May this season?
7. Coulson and May At Odds - Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Coulson and May spent much of last season at odds. Will she continue as his second in command helping rebuild the team? Or will she refuse to work with powered individuals?
8. Iain De Caestecker as Agent Leo Fitz - Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Agent Fitz struggled with, but overcame the damage to his brain after suffering oxygen deprivation at the hands of Ward. He was the last person to see Simmons. Will he blame himself for her mysterious disappearance?
9. Finding Simmons - Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Fitz will not stop until he discovers the truth behind Simmons' disappearance. Can he find some answers regarding the massive alien Kree monolith? Who will he turn to for help, Lady Sif perhaps?
10. Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Jemma Simmons - Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
As for poor Simmons, is she inside that Kree monolith or did it teleport her elsewhere? Will its unknown properties somehow alter her physically? Perhaps even giving her powers of her own?
11. Will Simmons Play Nice? - Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Simmons proved to be quite fearful of the Inhumans last season. If/when she reappears, will Simmons play nice with the new superpowered folks? Or will she turn to the ATCU (Advanced Threat Containment Unit) for help?
12. Henry Simmons as Agent Mack MacKenzie - Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Mack and Coulson definitely clashed last season, as he didn't feel the Director was acting in S.H.I.E.L.D.'s best interest. After saving Coulson's life, their relationship seemed to change for the better.
13. Rebuilding S.H.I.E.L.D. - Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Season 3 finds Mack working alongside Coulson and Daisy to build a stronger team, that includes both highly skilled Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and powered individuals.
14. Adrianne Palicki as Agent Bobbi Morse - Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Superspy Bobbi took quite a beating from Ward last season. Will she recover from the torture Ward inflicted and set her sights on bringing the traitor down? Hey, at least she's got Hunter on her side.
15. Marvel's Most Wanted - Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Which reminds me, the Bobbi/Mockingbird & Lance Hunter spinoff is back on. Are you looking forward to exploring the further adventures of these two on Marvel's Most Wanted? Will Ward make an appearance on the new show?
16. Nick Blood as Agent Lance Hunter - Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Hunter had quite a journey last season, starting off as an indifferent mercenary and becoming a loyal addition to the team. What do you make of his relationship with Bobbi? It seems the duo will be working closely together this season.
17. Will S.H.I.E.L.D. Splinter? - Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
With so many different threats looming, it's possible S.H.I.E.L.D. will splinter off into Secret Warriors and Marvel's Most Wanted. One group will handle the Inhuman threat, while Bobbi and Hunter go after Hydra. What do you think?
18. Luke Mitchell as Lincoln Campbell - Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Lincoln proved himself not only a wonderful mentor to Skye, but a powerful ally fighting alongside S.H.I.E.L.D. It's important that Coulson have an experienced "gifted" individual on his team, and who better than Lincoln?
19. How Much Does Lincoln Know? - Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
While Coulson puts his organization back together, new Inhumans and the ATCU (Advanced Threat Containment Unit) pose a threat. What role will Lincoln play in all this? Is he familiar with the mysterious woman who runs the ATCU?
20. Brett Dalton as Grant Ward - Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Grant Ward caused some serious trouble last season after escaping S.H.I.E.L.D. Now, he's making it his mission to bring Coulson down. There's no doubt he'll come close, but why is the traitor we love to hate still on the official poster?
21. Constance Zimmer as Rosalind Price - Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
The lovely Contance Zimmer takes on the role of Rosalind Price; the head of the ATCU (Advanced Threat Containment Unit). Price is this season's "big bad," as both she and Coulson seek out new Inhumans.
22. Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Returns Sept.29
