No, Lucious isn't breaking out of prison, but he's going to try to set himself free in another way on Empire Season 2 Episode 2, "Without a Country."
Cookie is also breaking free and taking two of her sons with her when she decides to start a new record label.

It appears that conversation went very well. It's hard not to be skeptical when they're talking and Dre is working with Hakeem and Cookie. Something shady has to be going on here.

Sure, Lucious may have recorded a track while behind bars, but he got his ass tossed into solitary for doing it, too. Officer McKnight got his payback, bitch!
22. Alone - Empire Season 2 Episode 2
What's next for Lucious? Thankfully, he hired a new lawyer. Neither Lucious nor Cookie is down for long these days, so while he may look pitiful peeping out of the hole, it's hard to feel sorry for Lucious Lyon.
