Ash vs Evil Dead premieres on Sunday.
And Ash vs Evil Dead Season 2 will be coming your way in 2016! That's right, just days before the premiere, Starz announced the renewal.
"One season isn’t enough to satisfy the fans’ two-decade-long appetite for more Ash," said Starz managing director Carmi Zlotnik. "The early fan and press support, along with the international broadcaster demand for more story, have made it clear that the adventures of Ash Williams can’t end with Season 1."
Ash vs Evil Dead is a continuation of the Evil Dead movie from 1981 starring Bruce Cambpell as Ashley "Ash" William, who unleashes an unspeakable evil after reading the Book of the Dead.
Years later, he still has the book, but has been living a clean life. Until now. Ash vs Evil Dead also stars Lucy Lawless, Ray Santiago, Jill Marie Jones and Dana DeLorenzo. Sam Raimi is on board as an executive producer, as well as to write and direct some episodes. Campbell also serves as an executive producer.
Campbell, Lawless and Raimi are all on board for Season 2.
Be sure to tune in Sunday, October 31 at 9/8c on Starz for the premiere. Watch the first four minutes now!
