Chicago Med Stars Tease New NBC Drama

If you're super producer Dick Wolf and you want a Windy City show set in a hospital to work alongside established hits Chicago Fire and Chicago PD (both of which were renewed for another season last week), you order up Chicago Med Season 1.
We already met some of the cast during last year's backdoor pilot on Chicago Fire - but with Chicago Med Season 1 Episode 1 airing tonight, we'll get to know more faces and see just how this world will exist alongside the others.
To celebrate the new addition to the franchise, I was in Chicago last week at the #NBCChicagoDay press event and grabbed some time with stars Colin Donnell, Brian Tee and Marlyne Barrett to talk about the new show and what fans can expect.
First up, Donnell filled us in on Dr. Connor Rhodes, who we meet on his first day in the hospital.
Next, Brian Tee (who plays Dr. Ethan Choi) and Marlyne Barrett (Maggie Lockwood) talked the biggest challenges for their characters and, of course, we had to discuss Tee's missing facial hair.
Chicago Med premieres tonight at 9/8c on NBC.
