Hawaii Five-0 Season 6 Episode 8 Review: The Artful Dodger

There was a lot going on in this Hawaii Five-0 Season 6 Episode 8. Watching Hank and Kate pick pocket their way through the airport was enlightening.
I don't think I would want to stand within 20 feet of Hank and his fast hands, which Grover was learning the hard way. To think he got him twice. Hank's fear of the drain was good for a laugh.
At first I thought both Hank and Kate were shot. It took a few seconds to realize it was a different guy. Here these guys thought they were getting lucky with some hot lady, only to be set up and robbed. Probably too scared to call the cops, considering what they were up to. They were the perfect unwitting targets.
I have to say I didn't see the twist with Hank working for Gabriel coming. Has Steve gone mad that he made a deal with a con man for his testimony against Gabriel? I know he wants to take him down, but is dealing with Hank the way to go? Should murdering con men get the two-month deal?
Hopefully he gets more, but it still looks like he will get off easy. No charges for the murders as long as he testifies against Gabriel. Gabriel was his five million dollar payday, I doubt he comes through with that, even if he won't see the rest of the money. Getting on Gabriel's bad side never works out.
It was sad seeing Adam turn himself in with Kono by his side. Part of me thought he would still go on the run, and the other part didn't think he could live with himself by doing that. So I can't say I was surprised, but it was sad that he was put in that situation in the first place.
Maybe he should have given his wife a heads up first instead of just springing it on her. She must felt like she was hit with a ton of bricks.Will they ever get their happily ever after? You know he will probably do some prison time unless he can prove he feared for his life, but even then, who knows? He does have a shady past.
There was a whole lot of flirting going on between Chin and the new girl, Abby Dunn. It has been awhile since I've seen Chin smile so much. Even their case was tied to Gabriel. He was busy tonight. I felt bad for Jerry feeling hurt watching Abby being sworn in. He has been there for years and wants it to be his turn. It should be fun to watch Abby and Chin while she is here. He deserves some happiness.
Looks like Steve was going on his date with Lynn for coffee and Malasada's, Too bad we didn't get a peek.
