The Flash Season 2 Episode 8 Promo: Heroes Join Forces

What's coming up on The Flash Season 2 Episode 8, "Legends of Today"? A massive crossover event in which Hawkgirl and Hawkman are in some sort of trouble.

We have already been introduced to Kendra Saunders, as she's dating Cisco. Hey, she has good taste! 

We'll be getting our first feel for Carter Hall during the crossover, and by the way of this trailer? So far so good! He's kind of yummy. 

The Flash and Arrow teams are going to band together to protect the two Hawk people from the time traveling villain Vandal Savage.

The Flash seems pretty certain they can take him down.

Unfortunately, Savage is expected to be a thorn in the side of DC's Legends of Tomorrow for at least the first season on that series when it begins, so if they stop him, it will only be temporary.

They're going to great lengths to try, however. We can see all of our heroes in action, including The Flash, Green Arrow, Black Canary letting out a Canary Cry and Felicity probably hard at work with Cisco trying something from a computer angle. 

Heck, even Malcom Merlyn is stepping up with his heroic side to lend a helping hand. This is going to be a wicked crossover!

Will Carter be a little flippant about the whole ordeal? Kendra seems to be appealing to be making an appeal to his rational side when she points out that all of those people are hard at work trying to SAVE THEM.

We're drawing ever closer to a legendary start for the new series, and three remarkable DC comic adaptations in which characters will move in one universe. WOW!

The action begins on The Flash on Tuesday, December 1 at 8/7c.
